Prior Rhino Gold and Matrix user. I am loving Rhino Artisan so far. It would be great if I could switch back and forth between the Rhino and Artisan interfaces. But that is minor

I used to use VectorWorks and now I've switched to Rhino3d. Rhino is more general case so it's easier to build models that show custom details exactly as I want built. And I love being able to type commands on the keyboard—it goes very fast once I learn them.

My main pain point is turning the model into construction drawings. Setting up a detail view is a little more tedious than VectorWorks, and sometimes the printout/pdf looks different from how it looked on the screen which makes it very time consuming to adjust.

Civil 3D 2024 is a great software.

I think AutoCAD is WAY TOO expensive for what I get .

However, Scott is the best. He reminds me about subscriptions dates, guides me in the correct direction for updates. He always responds promptly to me.

He is literally the reason I continue to work with Novedge and will do so in the future.

This software is some of the best written and the UI gets more intelligent the more it is used. I am a long time Autocad user and have several old Lisp routines and no modification to them was necessary all that needed to be done was to load and go. The only issue i have is being from the old school we like to read and study, a full PDF version manual would be nice to have to follow along with. I do understand this is very time consuming and costly to maintain. as far as any down side to this software, i have not found anything it is not capable of with the proper time investment. The best thing about this software is the cost of investing in it, this is half the cost with double the features, anyone looking for a cad package, look no further than Bricscad from shape to the top end Ultimate. For an added benefit include Communicator and you can talk to any other package on the planet.
